Online is an Internet Call Waiting and Voicemail service
that allows Internet users the ability to receive every phone
call while they're surfing the Web.
BuzMe
Online is aimed at Analog Modem users, but may also be used
by Broadband (Cable or DSL) users. If you are using a Broadband
connection, we recommend you sign up for the BuzMe
Plus service.

How does it work?
You're online, and
a call comes in. Instead of your phone ringing busy, BuzMe
Online intercepts the phone call and presents you with the
following display:
Your caller meanwhile
hears this:
"You reached the answering service for <your name>.
Please hold while I try to locate him/her for you". The
caller is then placed on hold for a few seconds, while you,
the BuzMe subscriber, decide what to do with this call.
Your Options
are:
Accept Call
- Allows you to preset a list of phone numbers and designate
one of them for the phone call to be forwarded to:
If you
are on a dialup connection, you can indicate whether or not
your Internet session should be terminated in order to accept
the call:
Otherwise,
if you are using a broadband connection, then BuzMe will Call
Forward the call to the specified phone number (for example
your mobile phone), without disconnecting you from the Internet.
In either case, your
Caller is connected to you, without having to hang-up.
Note that all Accept
Call minutes with BuzMe Online are metered. Once your initial
allotment of Accept Call minutes is used up you will need
to purchase additional minutes to use this function. However,
you may use the other BuzMe Online functions (below) regardless
of remaining Accept Call minutes.
Reply - Allows
you to send a text-to-speech reply message to the Caller without
interrupting your Internet session. You can choose from a
number of prerecorded messages:

When the
call is terminated you're free to continue with your Internet
session without having to reconnect.
Reject - Allows
you to reject the call without giving your caller an opportunity
to leave a voice mail message. Your caller will hear: "BuzMe
Subscriber is not available at the moment", and the call
will be terminated. This option is great for handling those
pesky solicitors...
Voicemail -
Allows you to use BuzMe Online as an Online Internet Answering
Machine. Your caller gets to record a message (rather than
hearing a busy tone), which you can later retrieve from your
BuzMe Online mailbox over the Web.
Internet Call Notification Service for Dialup users
Drop that Second Phone Line! BuzMe will notify you of all
your important phone calls while you're online. See who's
calling, Accept important calls immediately, Reply to others
online without dropping your Internet connection, send the
rest to Voicemail!
